Rock House Firearms - Refund and Returns Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This policy outlines the refund and return terms for all purchases and services at Rock House Firearms, LLC ("Rock House Firearms," "we," "us," or "our"). By placing an order or initiating a service with Rock House Firearms you agree to the terms described below. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at brad@rockhousefirearms.com or visit us at 3233 FM 2108, Lufkin, TX 75901. --- 1. FIREARMS — ALL SALES FINAL AFTER TRANSFER Once a firearm transfer has been completed — meaning ATF Form 4473 has been signed, the NICS background check has been conducted, and the firearm has been released to the purchaser — the sale is final. No returns, exchanges, or refunds will be issued on transferred firearms under any circumstances. Any defects to the product must be taken up in accordance with that manufacturers warranty process. This policy exists because federal law places strict requirements on firearms transactions, and reversing a completed transfer involves significant legal complexity. We encourage all customers to carefully review their purchase before initiating the transfer process. --- 2. FAILED BACKGROUND CHECK — FORFEITURE OF FIREARM If you purchase a firearm through Rock House Firearms — either in-store or online — and you do not pass the required ATF/NICS background check, the following applies: - The firearm will be forfeited to Rock House Firearms, LLC- No refund will be issued for the purchase price of the firearm- No refund will be issued for any transfer fees paid- Rock House Firearms is not liable for the outcome of any background check conducted by the FBI/NICS system By initiating a firearm purchase or transfer with Rock House Firearms you acknowledge that a passed background check is a condition of receiving the firearm, and that failure to pass does not entitle you to a refund. If you believe your background check result was issued in error, you have the right to appeal directly with the FBI through the NICS appeals process. Rock House Firearms cannot and will not intervene in or appeal a background check result on your behalf. --- 3. FIREARM ORDERS CANCELLED PRIOR TO TRANSFER If you have ordered a firearm online or placed a special order in-store and wish to cancel your order before the transfer has been initiated (i.e. before ATF Form 4473 has been signed), the following restocking fee applies: - A 30% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund- The remaining balance (70% of the purchase price) will be refunded to your original payment method- Transfer fees, if already paid, are non-refundable To cancel an order prior to transfer, contact us as soon as possible at brad@rockhousefirearms.com or by phone. Once the transfer process has begun — including the signing of ATF Form 4473 — the order cannot be cancelled and Section 1 of this policy applies. --- 4. ACCESSORIES, PARTS & AMMUNITION Unopened and unused accessories, parts, and ammunition may be returned within 30 days of purchase with the original receipt, subject to the following conditions: - Items must be in original, unopened packaging in resalable condition- Proof of purchase is required for all returns- Items showing signs of use, damage, or missing packaging will not be accepted for return- Ammunition is non-returnable once the original packaging has been opened- Special order items are non-returnable Refunds on eligible returns will be issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of us receiving and inspecting the returned item. --- 5.
