What it is
What We Engrave
Our laser engraves directly into steel, aluminum, titanium and polymer, so the result is permanent, crisp and will not wear off like a printed or painted graphic. We can engrave single-line text, names and dates, unit insignia, company logos, flags, scripture, custom artwork and photo-style imaging on slides, receivers, dust covers, magazine baseplates, suppressor tubes and most accessories.
We also do ATF-compliant NFA engraving for Form 1 short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns and other NFA builds — the maker’s name (or trust name), city and state engraved to the federal depth and size requirements, placed where it looks right on your firearm.

Questions
Laser Engraving FAQ
Common questions about our laser engraving service. More answers on the FAQ page.
How much does laser engraving cost?
Engraving starts at $50 for text and simple logos. Larger artwork, multi-part jobs and photo-style imaging are quoted individually based on size, detail and the number of parts. Request a quote with a description or image of what you want and we’ll respond within 24 hours.
How long does engraving take?
Most engraving jobs are finished in 3–5 business days. Simple text can often be done faster; detailed imaging or multiple parts may take a little longer. We’ll confirm a timeline with your quote.
What are the ATF requirements for engraving a Form 1 SBR or suppressor?
Federal regulations (27 CFR 479.102) require the maker’s name — your name or the name of your trust — and the city and state of the maker to be engraved on the receiver or frame to a minimum depth of 0.003" and in lettering no smaller than 1/16" tall. We engrave to those specifications so your markings pass inspection. Bring a copy of your approved Form 1 or trust paperwork so the wording matches exactly.
Do I have to engrave my firearm before or after the ATF approves my Form 1?
The markings must be in place before you assemble or configure the firearm as an NFA item. Many customers have the engraving done while waiting on approval so the firearm is ready the day the form comes back. Either way, the engraved name, city and state must match what you submitted to the ATF.
What file format do you need for a logo or artwork?
A clean, high-contrast image works best — vector files (SVG, AI, EPS or PDF) are ideal, and a sharp PNG or JPG on a plain background usually works for logos and simple art. If all you have is a sketch or an idea, send it anyway and we’ll tell you what we can do.
Can you engrave Cerakoted or anodized parts?
Yes. Engraving through Cerakote or anodizing exposes the base metal underneath, which produces a sharp, high-contrast design. If you want the engraving color-filled or coated afterward, we can combine engraving with our Cerakote service in the same visit.
Can I ship a part to you for engraving?
Slides, dust covers, handguards, baseplates and other non-serialized parts can be shipped straight to us. Serialized receivers and frames must ship FFL-to-FFL from a licensed dealer. Contact us before shipping.
