ROCK HOUSE FIREARMS – TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Last updated: August 2026
Please read these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using our website or purchasing any products or services from Rock House Firearms, LLC (“Rock House Firearms,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing our website at https://rockhousefirearms.com, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, by our Privacy Policy and Refund & Returns Policy, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our website.
If you have questions about these Terms, contact us at support@rockhousefirearms.com.
- AGE REQUIREMENTS
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this website or purchase any products or services from Rock House Firearms. By accessing this website you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.
Federal law establishes the following minimum age requirements:
- You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase rifles, shotguns, long guns, and rifle/shotgun ammunition
- You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase handguns and handgun ammunition
Age and identity are verified at the time of every firearm transfer. If you do not meet the minimum age requirement for the item you purchased, the transfer will not be completed and our Refund & Returns Policy will apply.
- ELIGIBILITY TO PURCHASE FIREARMS
Federal law prohibits certain persons from purchasing, possessing, or receiving firearms. By placing an order for a firearm you represent and warrant that you are not prohibited from purchasing or possessing firearms under federal, state, or local law. You are NOT eligible to purchase a firearm if you:
- Have been convicted of a felony or any crime punishable by imprisonment for more than one year.
- Are a fugitive from justice.
- Are an unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled substance.
- Have been adjudicated as a mental defective or have been committed to a mental institution.
- Are an illegal alien or non-immigrant visa holder (with limited exceptions).
- Have been discharged from the Armed Forces under dishonorable conditions.
- Have renounced your United States citizenship.
- Are subject to a qualifying restraining or protective order.
- Have been convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence.
- Are under indictment for a felony.
By completing a purchase you certify that you are legally eligible to purchase and possess firearms. Providing false information on ATF Form 4473 is a federal felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison and fines up to $250,000. Rock House Firearms is not liable for any consequences arising from false statements made by a purchaser.
- STRAW PURCHASES STRICTLY PROHIBITED
Every firearm purchase must be made by and for the actual buyer. Purchasing a firearm on behalf of another person who is prohibited from possessing firearms, or purchasing with the intent to transfer to any other person while representing yourself as the actual buyer, is a straw purchase – a federal felony. Rock House Firearms refuses all sales we suspect to be straw purchases and cooperates fully with the ATF and law enforcement in the investigation of suspected straw purchases and firearms trafficking.
- FIREARM ORDERS, SHIPPING & FFL TRANSFERS
All firearm sales – whether online or in-store – comply with federal firearms transfer law. Firearms are never shipped directly to a customer’s home. When you purchase a firearm online you have two fulfillment options:
A. Transfer through your local FFL dealer. During checkout you select a federally licensed firearms dealer (FFL) near you. Your firearm is shipped to that dealer, and the transfer – including completion of ATF Form 4473 and the NICS background check, unless exempt by statute – is conducted by the receiving dealer under their license and procedures. You are responsible for:
- Confirming your selected dealer will accept the transfer before or promptly after placing your order.
- Paying the receiving dealer’s transfer fee, which is set by that dealer and is not included in our prices.
- Completing the transfer within the timeframe described in Section 13 (Abandoned Transfers).
If your selected dealer refuses or fails to accept the transfer, we will work with you to select an alternate dealer; all additional shipping costs required to reroute the firearm are the customer’s responsibility. If no valid dealer can be arranged, the order will be treated as a cancellation and handled under our Refund & Returns Policy.
B. In-store pickup at Rock House Firearms. You may select pickup at our Lufkin, TX location, where we conduct the ATF Form 4473 and NICS background check, unless exempt by statute, ourselves before releasing the firearm.
In either case, no firearm is released until the required background check is approved and all applicable federal, state, and local requirements – including any waiting periods imposed by the destination jurisdiction – are satisfied.
- BACKGROUND CHECKS
- Every firearm transfer requires completion of ATF Form 4473 and a NICS background check, unless exempt by statute, conducted by the transferring dealer
- No firearm will be released until the background check is approved unless you are exempt from the background check by statute.
- If a background check is delayed, the firearm will be held until the delay resolves or the transfer is denied.
- Neither Rock House Firearms nor the receiving dealer controls, and neither is responsible for, the outcome of any background check; we cannot appeal a result on your behalf (appeal instructions are available from the FBI NICS Section).
- If your background check is denied, the sale will be cancelled and refunded minus the following, which are the customer’s responsibility: (a) all return shipping costs; (b) our dealer transfer fee of $30 for standard ATF Form 4473 transfers or $50 for ATF Form 4 (NFA) transfers; and (c) a 30% restocking fee calculated on the purchase price of the firearm.
- STATE AND LOCAL LAW COMPLIANCE
Firearm, ammunition, magazine, and accessory laws vary by state and locality. It is your sole responsibility to know and comply with all federal, state, and local laws applicable to your purchase, possession, transport, and use of any item sold by Rock House Firearms in your jurisdiction. Rock House Firearms operates under Texas law and complies with all applicable federal firearms regulations.
We reserve the right to cancel any order that we believe cannot lawfully be fulfilled to your jurisdiction. Rock House Firearms is not responsible for purchases made in violation of the laws of your state or locality. If you are unsure whether an item is legal where you live, consult a qualified attorney before ordering.
- NFA ITEMS – SILENCERS & SUPPRESSORS
Rock House Firearms holds an active Special Occupational Tax (SOT) designation under the National Firearms Act, authorizing us to transfer NFA-regulated items including, but not limited to, silencers, short barreled rifles or short barreled shotguns. NFA purchases are subject to additional federal requirements and may be subject to additional transfer fee’s, including:
- Completion of ATF Form 4 or Form 5, as applicable.
- If an item is not bought through us, the Form 4 transfer fee is $50. We also offer a Form 1 assistance service for $50.
- Payment of any applicable federal NFA transfer tax as set by current federal law.
- ATF approval, which may take several months – approval timelines are outside our control and are not grounds for cancellation.
- Compliance with all state and local NFA regulations; NFA items are not sold to jurisdictions where they are prohibited.
NFA sales are final once the transfer process has been initiated. No refunds will be issued on NFA items once ATF paperwork has been submitted.
- AMMUNITION SALES
By purchasing ammunition you certify that you meet the federal minimum age (18 for rifle/shotgun ammunition; 21 for handgun ammunition) and that you may lawfully receive and possess the ammunition in your jurisdiction. Additional terms:
- Ammunition ships only where direct-to-consumer ammunition shipment is lawful under the federal, state, and local laws of the destination. Our checkout and fulfillment systems apply jurisdiction-based compliance restrictions automatically, and we reserve the right to cancel any ammunition order that cannot lawfully be shipped to your address; such cancellations are refunded in full. Regardless of these automated safeguards, you remain solely responsible for confirming that your ammunition purchase is lawful where you reside.
- Adult signature may be required upon delivery.
- Ammunition shipments are subject to carrier restrictions and hazmat regulations; limited-quantity surcharges may apply.
- All ammunition sales are final. For safety reasons, ammunition may not be returned or exchanged.
- MAGAZINES AND RESTRICTED ACCESSORIES
Some states and localities restrict magazine capacity or prohibit certain firearm accessories. You are solely responsible for confirming that any magazine or accessory you order is lawful in your jurisdiction, and we reserve the right to cancel orders of restricted items to restricted jurisdictions. Items cancelled for this reason will be refunded in full.
- ONLINE ORDERS, PRICING & PRODUCT INFORMATION
- All prices are in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice.
- Our catalog is supplied in substantial part by manufacturer and distributor data feeds. Product descriptions, specifications, images, and pricing may contain errors, and images may not depict the exact configuration, color, or included accessories of the item shipped. We reserve the right to correct errors at any time and are not obligated to honor orders placed at erroneous prices or based on erroneous descriptions. Always check the manufacturer’s SKU or UPC numbers for the most accurate information before ordering.
- Inventory availability updates about every 20 minutes. An item may become unavailable between order placement and fulfillment; in that event we will notify you and issue a full refund for the unavailable item.
- We reserve the right to cancel any order, at any time, for any reason – including product unavailability, pricing or description errors, suspected fraud, or suspected unlawful purchase – with notice to you and a full refund of amounts paid for the cancelled items
- Estimated shipping and processing times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
- PAYMENT & CHARGEBACKS
Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor. By submitting payment you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided. Initiating a chargeback on an order that was lawfully fulfilled – including a firearm transferred to you or held for you at a dealer – instead of using our Refund & Returns process constitutes a breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to dispute improper chargebacks, to recover amounts owed together with reasonable costs of collection, and to refuse future orders from customers who abuse the chargeback process.
- CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS
Purchases require a customer account. You agree to provide accurate, current information; to keep your login credentials secure; and to accept responsibility for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, abuse, unlawful activity, or breach of these Terms.
- ABANDONED TRANSFERS
If a firearm shipped to your selected dealer, or held for pickup at our store, is not transferred within 90 days of our notice to you that it is ready – for any reason other than a pending background check – the purchase will be deemed abandoned. Abandoned firearms are forfeited to Rock House Firearms and returned to our inventory, with no refund issued. We will make reasonable attempts to contact you at the email and phone number on your order before a firearm is deemed abandoned.
- GUNSMITHING SERVICES
Rock House Firearms offers in-house gunsmithing services including Cerakote finishing, laser engraving, stippling, and hydrodip. By requesting gunsmithing services you agree to the following:
A. Work Order Agreement. All gunsmithing services require a signed work order detailing the scope of work. By signing you acknowledge and approve the scope, nature, and expected outcome of the work.
B. No refund once work is completed per the work order. Once work is completed in accordance with the signed work order, no refund will be issued. It is your responsibility to review and understand the work order before signing.
C. Refund if work is not completed per the work order. If we fail to complete the work in accordance with the signed work order, a refund will be issued, in an amount determined by the nature and extent of the deviation, up to the full amount paid for the service.
D. Customer-supplied firearms. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, defects, or issues with firearms brought in for service. Each firearm is inspected at drop-off and pre-existing conditions are noted; you are encouraged to review and confirm your firearm’s condition at drop-off. Custom finishes (including Stippling, Laser Engraving/Imaging, Cerakote and Hydrodip) are hand-applied processes; minor variations from samples or photographs are normal and are not defects.
E. Turnaround times. Time estimates are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays beyond our control will be communicated promptly.
- EXPORT CONTROL
All products are offered for sale and use within the United States only. We do not ship internationally. Many items we sell are controlled under U.S. export laws, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and may not be exported, re-exported, or transferred to foreign persons without U.S. government authorization. You agree not to export or re-export any item purchased from us.
